How We Help
Churches serve their communities in different ways. When care is not coordinated between churches, needs can be overlooked, duplicated, and people are not served in a manner that benefits them long-term or holistically.
Aspire Ministries fosters collaboration in our community and provides coordinated compassion to help churches serve their neighbors and the community through resources and relationships.
Marion Area Food Pantries & Community Meals
Aspire Ministries does not have its own food pantries or community meals. However, we do create and maintain the documents below to help our community find the critical resources. Updated schedules can be found here! Check to make sure your copy matches the most recent dates shown below.

Call to Get Started
IT BEGINS WITH A CALL.
Let’s face it. Life can be tough. Begin by calling the Aspire Ministries Connection Center. A volunteer will take the time to listen to your story and care for you with compassion and discernment. They will inquire about the expressed need, but will also explore the broader context of your situation. The volunteer may recommend area resources right away, offer to mail food pantry or community meal lists to you, or they may take notes on your situation and confer with the Connection Center Coordinator for the next best steps and call you back with more information later. Either way, you will be given an opportunity for us to pray with you before we end the call. (Accepting or rejecting prayer does not impact whether or not we can help you.)
When warranted, a volunteer may schedule you for resources through our partner church Gap Ministries. They will tell you the date, time, and location where you can visit to pick up your items.
Our volunteers will conduct follow-up calls with you to ensure you are taken care of and receiving the help you need.
WHY? Aspire Ministries isn’t about quick fixes and transactions. We care about you. We want to connect with you, meet you where you’re at, and help you achieve your God-given potential. We care about having a Christian community as a positive support system around our neighbors.
